Wishing success to my students.

Part of the Auditing class of 2019

About three years ago, I was lucky enough to teach a group of young and talented students in their first year at the university of Northampton . I was also new to the university at the time. These young people were full of optimism and had great expectations for the future. They were shy, nervous and even unsure of their great abilities and potentials.

Things have evolved over the period that I have known them, we have moved from teaching in large lecture theatres to small group in workshops.

Fast forward 2 years later and I am lucky enough to be teaching the same group of students in their final year. This time, their shyness has been replaced by confidence and academic knowledge. They articulately presented new topics in front of their classmates. I was so proud of them. Now as they prepare for their final exams, I wish them every success for the future, not only in these their final exams, but in every hurdle the world will put in their way.

These exams are only part of the bigger picture. There is no need to be stressed about them, be confident in your abilities, plan well and believe in yourselves. Relax and enjoy the final few months of this great experience. Remember that the academic piece of your stay here is only part of the experience you will gain from being at the university, keep in touch with the friends you have made here and enjoy the journey of life.

I wish you all the best for the future. I definitely missing you already so do keep in touch.
