Small business are important to all economies, they employ more than 80% of staff.  They also have the highest rate of business failure due to lack of appropriate resources.

Large corporations on the other hand, can afford to augment their resources by using employing short term staff to develop new strategies.

Management consultants cost between £2000 to £5000 a day. Most small businesses cannot afford to pay for these services. This is a shame as consultants can help small businesses to strategize and provide the much needed support.

My experience of working at Hewlett Packard provided me with the appreciation of how consultants can create momentum and bridge the resource gap.

The need to support SME’s has  been a source of concern for many years. How can SME’s increase revenue, reduce costs and increase profitability?
